I met Christine in my third trimester as I was seeing her regularly for prenatal massage.  At that point in time, I never really knew what a doula was, and was interested in asking her more about it when I heard her background.  My husband and I had already decided we wanted to try a natural delivery, and the skills that a doula provided sounded like a perfect fit.  And they were!

Having Christine join us for the weeks leading up to our delivery was a relief and made us feel very prepared…as much as we could have been!  We discussed our birth plan with her, and she helped us make it a reality.

Our delivery day was much anticipated, as our little girl was born more than a week overdue.  When labour began, we had Christine’s support and experience to rely on, which provided us with the confidence to labour from home as long as possible.  She joined us at the hospital and although my labour was quick, we were very grateful she was there.  Christine was especially nurturing to me immediately following the birth of my daughter, which allowed my husband to fully focus on our new bundle of joy.

Christine made us feel so calm and relaxed throughout the entire process.  We would definitely recommend her to anyone and could not have been happier with our birthing story.

    Sincerely,

    R & L Simpson
